Rick, do you broker names?
Yes. Click here to submit your name(s) to me. Make sure you include how much you want for the name(s). If you don’t, I’m just going to reply asking you what you want. Then you’ll ask me to tell you what it’s worth. Then I’ll tell you I don’t do that. We’ll go back and forth and fill up each other’s inbox. Now, who wants that? Do yourself a favor and me along with you. Get to the point. Tell me the name and the price you expect and we’ll go from there.
Rick, what will you charge me if you sell my name?
In my newsletter, I’ll charge you 10% of the total sales price. During our auctions, we charge 15%. What can I say, other than our costs are much higher to put on live auctions and we need to eat too? I hope you’ll feel that we’ll sell your names quicker and for more money than anyone else could.
Rick, what happens when you sell my name?
Technically, I buy it from you and resell it to the buyer. Promptly deliver to me the name and I’ll promptly deliver to you the funds. I try to close all deals in 72 hours or less and I need your help and cooperation to meet this goal. If you want to use Escrow.com or sign a contract, you’ll need to notify me within 12 hours and pay any associated costs.
Rick, what do you think of my .mobi, .tv, .travel or .info name?
I think you may have a domain I’ll be interested in ten years from now. Right now, I have zero interest and you are unlikely to sway my opinion.
Rick, will you appraise my domain?
No, I don’t offer a free appraisal service. I don’t do it for a fee either.
Rick, do you mind looking at my list of 1,000 names and telling me which ones you want to run?
Actually, I do mind. Seriously, we are all busy and if you send me 1000 average names with 10 good ones buried in the pile, I might accidentally breeze past the good ones. We are both better off if you just send me the good ones.
