Congratulations Rick, you have some great looking sites. I love the Geo and Directory demos and need to pick out a couple domains to try. I like the concept with the eBay and Amazon demos, but don’t like the idea of being an affiliate to these two companies. Have you considered offering an affiliate package using POPShops.com? They seem to be mentioned as a leader by many Affiliate marketers.
The new AEIOU site looks fantastic. Looking forward to seeing a sample of some sites designed with version 2.0. However, the prices are a little too steep for me currently.
This program is movement in the right direction, for those that can afford it.
At least it’s a step in moving the industry away from the standard parking page and the total reliance on being at the mercy of the Big Two upstream providers.
However, what the domain/parking industry needs to evolve into is full blown “White Label Ecommerce” solutions.
What that means is a system where the domainer can simply change their dns to host/park their domains with a profit sharing service that allows them to set up and “develop” a full blown ecommerce website that actually sells products.
From the domainers perspective, the control panel system would work much like parking does now. The domain owner could simply upload images or logo’s and design & tweak their website(s) as far as the look and feel goes.
All of the ecommerce, drop shipping, fulfillment and backend activity would be handled by the network AND it’s partners. Of course, the network would get a major portion of the earnings, since they are doing the heavy lifting. Since these types of sites Should be more successful as long term busineses, the domainer should still make much more than they ever did with parking.
Since these would be dynamic ecommerce websites, there Should be no reason for search engines not to rank them. Something like this would offer stable, long term income for everyone involved and they would have the opportunity to improve earnings with time and effort.
Yeah, it’s a tall order to fill …just wishful thinking, I guess.
Wow, those are some great looking sites. Do you have a discount if I order multiple sites?
Rick, really great work done. Always a step ahead.
Very nice Rick. I like the Geo site and the features you have installed. As a owner of many Geo domains I would love to try one out but due to the large loss of income lately and the high cost of the site I will have to wait. I would love to be able to do a comparison between your site design and others I have been using.
