ReviewCar.com Reserve Lowered Revenue Higher

One of our Latona's listings, ReviewCar.com just lowered their reserve from from

$129,000 to $88,000 even after redesigning their site and increasing their revenue from $2

200 per month to more than $2600.

The asking price is now less than three times earnings. I like that about the deal but what I really like to see when evaluating these revenue generating websites is a long-tail. None of the search terms it ranks for bring in more than 6% of its traffic. Meaning, that it could lose some rankings and keep its revenue in tact.

The site is a strong PR6 and someone that loves cars could easily continue running it.

Come on Rick, there is no "Site Established Date" listed so this could have made money for only the past two months... and you want to sell it for 3 years of 'possible' earnings.

Only 6 backlinks in Yahoo and 26 in Google. So no SEO work put in. No natural backlinks (which lends itself to the theory that site has not been around long).

Do you really think someone with $88k to spend is going to be foolish enough to hand it over for this. This has Shady written all over it.
