1965 Vintage Rolex Chronograph 6238 Pre-Daytona

We get a lot of vintage watches at WatchBrokers.com but this 1965 vintage Rolex chronograph 6238 is one of the nicest I've seen.

This was was made from the start of the 1960s to 1967 in Stainless Steel, 14K and 18K Gold, the Rolex chronograph ref. 6238 is the last of the Rolexes with a smooth bezel and graduated scale printed on dial.

It's nice in that the design is modern, sporty and casual. It has a vintage look but its also with the times.

This watch is widely considered the precursor to the Daytona, among collectors it is known as the Pre-Daytona.

The watch we have is in excellent condition for its age and has been recently serviced and includes the service papers.
