    Gold gets 100,000 exact local searches in the UK. Securities or financial firms would be well-served by "gold," since it is commodity - did you get the word out? . . . :)

    The gold business is huge and the owner could be making an absolute killing. I would keep the name and create a real business buying gold (just like the cash4gold commercials) or maybe start dealing in bullion. This is truely a million pound sterling domain (£1m). What is the sellers asking price?

    Wow, excellent name. What a fantastic business opportunity for someone within the industry, you couldn't own a better name in my opinion. As C.Steven said above, I too would be shocked if gold.co.uk doesn't reach over the 1million mark.
