Baume and Mercier or more accurately Baume et Mercier is one of the oldest watch companies in the world. Their Hampton series of watches all have a classic look and feel and the Hampton Spirit series adds a modern design on top of it.
The Baume and Mercier Hampton Spirit Moonphase Ref M0A08487 is a perfect example of that classic look meets modern design that they are going for.
What's particularly nice about this piece is its price. It isn't much more expensive than a flight to Europe, in coach.
It also isn't common to find an automatic watch with the day, the date and a moon phase in this price point.
