SupremeCourt.com to be auctioned off at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Dublin August 25th

On August 25th at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Domain Conference and Expo in Dublin Ireland the domain SupremeCourt.com will be auctioned off.

Most countries have a supreme court as the highest court in the land so it shouldn't be any more risky than Army.com as most countries have an army.

I'm not a lawyer so don't take my word as legal advice but in my opinion names like usarmy.com or ussupremecourt.com would be a problem but not a name like SupremeCourt.com.

Naturally, your usage also makes a difference. To take the example further, Army.com is an affiliate for the United States Army. They get paid for bringing in recruits. Because of that they can specifically mention the U.S. Army.

I'm not entirely sure what the business model would be for the Supreme Court but perhaps you could charge for records, research or something else clever.

For information about the auctioning of the domain SupremeCourt.com, the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. event in Dublin or financing terms, please contact us.
