About our portfolio auctions - no flat fee per domain

I've been getting a lot of questions about the portfolio auctions we've been running so I thought I'd answer some of them here.

We launched Latona's with our own names and shortly afterward had a few domainers hit us up asking us to run their portfolios. The whole thing has kind of taken on a life of its own in a short period of time.

It makes our life a lot easier too because we can run the portfolios on a daily basis dealing with just one seller.

It also helps us separate our online auctions from our live T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auctions.

We receive so many 1 and 2 domain submissions every day and we can now focus on cutting mutually beneficial deals on the right names to get them in the live auctions.

Because of these things, we are not charging our minimum $200 per name on portfolio sales. We are taking only a flat percentage of the entire sale.

I'm not sure how long this will be the format but I'm going to definitely do it for the immediate future. I know, that doesn't tell you anything. Sorry about that.

One day I'm sure we'll have auctions with lots from different sellers but for now it seems I've carved a little niche so I'm going to wedge myself into it.
