Free Entry into T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Amsterdam? You can get them from me. Here is how

Starting tomorrow, I will be putting 1-5 premium ccTLD names for sale in my newsletter that will each come with a free entry into T.R.A.F.F.I.C. ccTLDs Amsterdam. The entry fee into the show is $1995. Each premium name will be worth more than $1995 but I will have them priced at $1995. You can call it what you want. $1995 for the name and get a free ticket or $1995 for the ticket and get a free name. I don't care.

These will be transferable tickets. Meaning, if you are already registered, plan to invite a colleague, or want to buy 10 of the names or just give tickets away, it doesn't matter.

I am keenly aware that the world as a whole is more budget conscious than it has been in a while. I sincerely hope this helps those that need the help and motivates those that need to get their buts in gear.

    You got me. I've intentionally avoided your newsletter to try to prevent any temptation to buy even more names, but this pushed me over the edge. Someone hide my credit card.

    You are going to show the income of each domain to back up the price right? I am sure that yours will be worth $1995 but there is no way to know if we are not told how much income they are generating.

    If you buy your domains based only on revenue from parking, then I guess you dont buy many names.

    It seems to me that the fairest way to value a cctld is in parking revenue. Everything else is so transitory/unsure.

    It is hard to say that a domain is "worth" something (even $2000) if it is not generating any revenue. This is especially true for cctld's.

    If Rick really planed on selling domains based on his valuation and not on any type of revenue (I am sure he will not be doing this and I am sure that these domains are generating revenue) then that would be a good reason why he is now rich=)

    Also, if you are a "domainer" that doesn't look at the revenue of a domain when you buy it then it makes me think that you might not be rich=).

    Anyway, I certainly admit that my knowledge is fleeting and little, but I would hate to see a big fish preying on small fish because the small fish look up to the big fish so much. This is why I am sure that Rick will be backing up the $2000 price, plus a ticket to TRAFFIC Amsterdam, sounds pretty sweet.

    Revenue is a domain is of little interest to me if the domain is generic or has the scope for development.
