In celebration of three weeks without smoking a single cigarette - KickTheHabit.com is now live

I haven’t launched a business to consumer ecommerce site in seven years. Smoking cigarettes though, that I’ve been doing for 20+ years. Jesus I’m getting old.

Well, in celebration of three weeks without a cancer stick I’m proud to announce eFags.com

This site will be a labor of love. It doesn’t have much content now but a great deal will be added in the coming weeks. Working on the site has helped me kick the habit. I’ve found myself spending time reading books like Quitting Smoking for Dummies to research and get ideas. I’m here to tell you that although I am selling electronic cigarettes, the real perfect way to quit an addiction is to start a business about it!

Again, please don’t hold the limited functionality of the site against me. I just wanted to get it “kicked” out the door and live for now. More products and content are soon to come.

Congrats Rick! Just don’t become an alcoholic…I’ve seen it too many times with those who quit smoking.

Alexander, if I did that I’d start smoking again!

    Rick,
Congratulations on both counts! Would love to hear about the ecommerce platform you used and if you’re using a drop shipper. I’ve got to get those ecommerce golf domains rolling.

Well done Rick, 3 weeks down you’re 90% there. Good health to you.

Quitting smoking is an important and amazing accomplishment — congratulations Rick. For others with the will, but maybe less willpower, I wanted to add that I found the Chantex extremely helpful (much more so than anything that proceeded). Stay the course!

Congrats. Ive been about 4 weeks without a smoke and couldnt have done it without a ‘tic-tac’ replacement. Cheaper than all the other methods and it works. Looks like we are giving up together, dont let me down ;)

I’m looking at five months now without a cig… did it stick for you, Rick?

The best way is cold turkey. There is a Bodies exhibit out here that did it for me… a bunch of sliced up lungs looking all cancer-ridden wasn’t really the motivation. It was the sentence above the sliced up lungs that did it.

    It read :

“A pack of cigarettes takes 3 hours off of your life.”
