Get Your Name in Print

The TRAFFIC Down Under show in Brisbane Australia is just around the corner. Specifically, it’s November 18th through the 20th in Brisbane.

If you’d like to submit domains to our auction there, I suggest you do so now. The reason is that I spend over $40,000 a month in print campaigns with periodicals like Website Magazine and Internet Retailer. As you probably know, the lead time is at least 30 days. If you get your names to us this week, we have time to squeeze them into our next campaign before the auction comes.

    Hi Rick,

Greetings from downunder! I love your daily email and your blog. They give me continual inspiration.

With regards domains for “downunder”, areyou looking for just .com’s? Or will you consider some good .com.au’s?

    Cheers, Ned

    Hi Rick,

Just wanted to know where we should submit domains for TRAFFIC Down Under?
I can’t see a submit area on the official site.

    Thanks,

    Alasdair

How can I submit names for the auction?

  4. Rick Latona on September 30th, 2008 11:43 am

A few of you have tried to post your names right here on the blog. Please don’t do that. If you navigate to auctions/submissions you will find a form to send them in.

Also, we will consider good .com.au names.

I have an Australian GEO-Domains portfolio. Id be happy to test the water with a few but unsure of the current value of the domains at present. Am I able to set a reserve on the names? If I have names being auctioned do I still have to pay for entry into T-R-A-F-F-I-C Brisbane? Seems the entry is pretty expensive, love to go but …

Mick, we would be happy to look at your GEO portfolio. If you go to Auctions, Submit your Domains, you can enter up to five names for consideration in our upcoming auction in Australia. You are able to set a reserve request, but if the request is more than we think the name(s) will sell for, we will not be able to list them for you.

The entry to TRAFFIC Down Under is a separate deal and we think it is totally worth the investment. Yes, it is expensive, but the speakers alone make it worth the admission. Go to http://www.trafficdownunder.com and check out their speakers and their agenda.

    Submitted some names :)

Are we only able to submit five names in total for the upcoming TRAFFIC auction? I wanted to liquidate my portfolio, made up mostly of .com, .net & related .info and a small number of .com.au. A total of 56 names.

Mark, we only have 60-75 slots in our upcoming RLA TRAFFIC Down Under sale. That is why we ask that you start off submitting 5 names. If we accept one or more of those 5, we would certainly be happy to consider looking at others for you.

Rick, I have a premium.com.au. If it goes to auction, can I set the reserve price?

Taryn, If you go directly to the link below, you will see our submissions form. For each name that you select, you do make the reserve request.
